Daily routine for
a CF child - Submitted by Shane Moerdyk (CF Parent)
- Wake up in the
morning and take 6-7 different medications.
- Do some physical
therapy for 1/2 hour to loosen the mucus in the lungs.
- Take some more
medicine to be able to digest and secrete nutrients out of any food
eaten (taken with every type of food eaten during the day).
- Do more physical
therapy in the evening with more drugs to try to loosen the mucus in
the lungs again.
- Be on constant
look out for any opportunities to avoid contamination issues that will
lead to lung infections and hospitalization.
